VP or County Card, which provides discounted green fees at participating clubs in Cambridgeshire and a further 28 counties in England (see CAGU website for more detail).

Members' Guests benefit from a 50% discount on daily green fees.

A personal invitation to a new member’s evening with our Club Captains and committee members, including an opportunity to play a few holes with them and other new members.

For a small fee, all members join the Cambridgeshire Area Golf Union (CAGU fees £15pa) or Cambs and Hunts Ladies County Golf Association (CHLCGA fees £18.50pa)

Facilities

A mature 18 hole golf course, with glimpses of the Cathedral.

1st and 10th tees located less than 100 yards from the Clubhouse, (and parking) allowing busy members the ability to play just 9 holes before or after work.

An easy walking front nine holes and an interesting elevated back nine, with extensive views towards Cambridge.

Play to the main greens practically all year round with no use of fairway mats during the winter.

Practice putting green. Large practice area with bunker and chipping area.

Air-conditioned dining room.

Changing room with lockers available to rent.

Competition & Social Golf

A comprehensive list of matches for Ladies, Gents, Juniors, Seniors and Mixed.

Monthly Medals, Stableford, Fourball, Foursomes and Texas Scrambles are held on a regular basis. both in a friendly and league format are held against other Clubs throughout the season.

Sign in a non-member for a discounted green fee.

Play from the non-competition tees or the competition tees (Tuesdays and Thursdays) throughout the season, your choice.

Personal liability insurance, which covers you when playing at Ely and other Clubs.

Ely City Golf Club delivers value to a member, not only in a social sense but a financial one too. A 20% discount is provided to members in the bar. The restaurant and bar provides good value and as a member you will also have access to special social events throughout the year.

Our welcoming and friendly clubhouse can provide a real sense of belonging. Life doesn’t afford many opportunities for meeting new people in a relaxing environment than in your own personal club. Being welcomed by name when you enter the Pro Shop or the Clubhouse is priceless.
